Bourgault is expanding compatibility and adding more flexibility to its Bourgault Intelligent Control (BiC) system, with new updates showcased at the Western Canadian Crop Production Show at Saskatoon.
Jordan Henderson with Bourgault says the company first rolled out Bourgault Intelligent Control in November 2024, focusing on running the BiC controller alongside a tractor monitor’s task controller. After successful field use last spring with John Deere G4 and G5 displays, Bourgault is now bringing that same approach to CNH equipment, working closely with CNH to ensure integration with the Pro 1200 and IntelliView 12 monitors ahead of the 2026 spring season.
“We have been working very closely with CNH to ensure that the Pro 1200 and IntelliView 12s… also integrate,” Henderson says, adding that Bourgault’s R&D team has been focused on making the process as smooth as what growers saw with John Deere.
Bourgault is also pushing forward with standalone capability for operations running older tractors or monitors. In that setup, the BiC system uses an iPad to handle mapping, job creation, and data management in a self-contained format. “With our BiC with standalone, all of that is now done in a self contained system on our iPad,” Henderson says.
With both expanded tractor-display integration and an iPad-based standalone option, Bourgault is aiming to make BiC accessible across more fleets and more field setups. The goal, Henderson says, is a streamlined operator experience that keeps control and data management simple, whether a farm is running the latest monitors or upgrading an older machine.
